Homemade Chunky Applesauce

This easy homemade apple sauce is ridiculously simple and ridiculously better than store bought.

  • 3 lbs (About 6-8) Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Water


  • Prepare apples. Place apples in a large pot with the cinnamon, water and sugar. Mix it all together. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes.
  • Put a fork through an apple piece to see if it's soft. Then mash with a potato masher into the desired consistency. You can blitz it in the blender if you want it completely smooth. Serve hot or cold.
