I thought it would be fun to share my favorite food blogs. These are the blogs of people I frequently go to for inspiration and read just because I love to read anything they have to write.
And of course because I love their recipes! This post is updated (April 2021) with a new favorite of mine which I’ve been going to frequently. Read to the bottom to find out all my favorite food blogs!

David’s blog has been around for a long time, I think he might have started it in the 90’s if I remember right. He’s a Pastry Chef that lived in California, then moved to Paris and has been there ever since. He’s big on ice cream, chocolate and desserts.
I randomly came across his biography while at work a few years ago and have been reading everything he comes out with ever since. His biography is My Sweet Life in Paris. It’s funny, and charming and I immediately had to buy it so I could keep it forever. He has several books published, including his newest one called Drinking French, which I just got from the library to take a look at.
I subscribe to his monthly newsletter (on the sidebar) and I get emails every time he drops a new post. Even if the post is something I don’t plan on trying to make myself, I still read it because he is just such an enjoyable read. He’s very active on Instagram too, I’m always looking at what he’s whipping up in his stories.

Deb Perelman’s Smitten Kitchen blog is the big number 2 for me. She is a frequent go to for recipe ideas for weeknight dinners. A lot of the recipes she posts are quick, easy, and delicious.
I don’t know that she’s 100% vegetarian, but the majority of her dishes are plant based and chock full of veggies. Yet another reason I love her blog. One of my favorites is her Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms. Her recipes are so good, I couldn’t help but share one on my own blog. Her Chocolate Lava Cakes are a must have recipe.
She has published cookbooks which I highly recommend you look at. The recipes are yum and the cookbook aesthetic is just lovely to look at. I also love her newsletter which I look forward to scrolling through every time it pops up in my inbox.
Previously known as King Arthur Flour, the King Arthur Baking Company has a special place in my heart. The first time I went on their site, I noticed they have a baker’s hotline where you can call and ask questions if you have a baking problem and they’ll help you! How cool is that? These are my people man.
Their recipes are all amazing. I recently attempted to make my own sourdough starter using their sourdough baking guide which is meticulously detailed and just fantastic. They’re Youtube channel has great videos and I love the mail catalog too, which I keep on my coffee table. I recently watched the pie crust video and learned some new tips which I’ll be using from now on. It’s all about the details and King Arthur Baking makes sure to know every detail.

I adore Manon! She first popped up on the Great British Baking Show, with her cute bakes and French accent. I love her style and when I say style I mean everything, her baking style, fashion style, home decor style etc.
Her blog is just adorable. I actually tried to model mine after hers. She makes the loveliest fruit filled bakes. On my list of things I want to bake is her Strawberry French Cake. She does a bake along every Tuesday on Instagram and I watch it religiously. She also sews her on clothes. Come on, who doesn’t want to be her.
This website is a recent discovery of mine. I’ve known about it for a while, but didn’t really dive into it until I found out I could no longer eat eggs. Dana Schultz, the blog creator has a recipe philosophy: recipes in under 30 minutes, one bowl recipes, or recipes in under 10 ingredients.
All of her recipes are made with extremely healthy ingredients and as the blog name says, minimalist. The majority of her recipes are vegan and/or gluten free. They are also all delicious!! I recently made her Samoa cookie recipe and absolutely loved it.

Kim-Joy doesn’t technically have a blog, but I couldn’t pass up not including her in this post. She is also one of my favorites. She published one cookbook so far which I pre-ordered immediately and has a Christmas themed one coming out this year.
She’s super active on Instagram and she has a new Youtube channel which I of course also watch religiously. She is just so adorable with her little animal themed bakes. Everything has cute little kawaii faces and it just makes you happy. This girl radiates joy, Kim-Joy.
So there you have it, this is my top tier favorite food blogs where I get most of my inspiration from. There’s definitely more blogs I look at, but not as much as these. A Food Blog post Part 2 might be in the future.
