How do I make homemade Golden Milk?
This is one of the simplest homemade golden milk recipes you will find on the internet. It is only 4 ingredients and of course the focus here is on the turmeric. No add-ins here, just the good stuff!
My mom gave me this recipe years ago and I immediately loved it.
Homemade Golden Milk Ingredients
Here are the ingredients: Turmeric, Oat Milk, Honey and Almond oil. That’s it! Read on to learn how to make it in minutes on your stovetop.

Turmeric Paste
First you have to make a turmeric paste. In a small pot or saucepan on the stove top, place yout turmeric powder and water and mix it together. Once it heats up, it will thicken into a paste. Take off the heat and scoop it into a bowl.
This is enough for a dozen cups or so of golden milk and will last for at least a few weeks in your fridge.
Homemade Golden Milk Instructions
After you make the turmeric paste, you just need to put the paste, almond oil, milk and honey in a small pot or saucepan. Mix it together and heat it up on the stove on low to medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, take it off the heat.
You can use a milk frother or blender to make sure the oil blends together with the milk. I use the aerolatte milk frother, it’s pretty cheap on amazon and has lasted us years.
