Witchy October Bullet Journal Theme

Last October for my bullet journal, I did more of a Halloween theme. For this year, since I didn't want to do the same thing, I decided on a witchy theme. I'm so excited about how this theme came out. It has exactly the vibe I was going for. Think witchy moon worshipping powerful women. Check out the difference between last year and this year: Monthly Spread October 2019 October 2020 This year the color scheme is more purples and browns, although I do use some orange still in other spreads for this month which you'll see when you scroll…

September Bullet Journal: Autumn Themed

I know it's not September anymore, but I still wanted to share my September bullet journal spread for that month because I love it and this theme could be used for any month in the fall season.  I was really excited to go apple picking and see the leaves change color so I decided to merge both into a fall theme to express my excitement. Each month I typically do a monthly spread, a calendar spread for memories, a habit tracker of some sort, and a spread for all my daily lists. I may add something extra or new each…

Fandom Mail Art: Harry Potter & ATLA

What's mail art you ask? It's basically just super fancy envelopes and letters. Think almost scrapbooking or collaging except with mail. One of my many hobbies is pen paling and I love to take the time to decorate each and every letter I send out. Each letter has it's own theme and recently I've made a couple fandom mail art pieces that I wanted to share with you, from two of my favorite fandoms: Harry Potter and Avatar the Last Airbender. I find that my creative process has a mind of it's own when I create letters. I get inspiration…

Pen Paling — Where to Start & Why It’s So Fun

I vaguely remember having a pen pal as a child. I think it was a temporary activity we did in elementary school. I haven't had a pen pal since... until last year. I had this idea in my head that I wanted one so I started doing some online research and I found a website where I could find pen pals. That's how it all started. I now have 10 pen pals. I do stationery swaps with people. I send postcards out to people all over the world. The past month or so is when I really fully committed and…

July Bullet Journal: Studio Ghibli Theme

This month I decided to go with a studio ghibli theme for my bullet journal spreads and I love it! I thought I would share it, in case you need some inspiration. My inspiration came from the Black Goddess blog who shared her studio ghibli spread. I love studio ghibli movies so I thought it would be perfect to draw some characters from the movies in my journal. My favorite is Howl's Moving Castle. I made a cute checklist too so I can try and watch all the movies, I haven't seen every one yet!  Monthly Spread I start off…

Introduction to Bullet Journaling

I have never managed to keep a journal for more than a couple months at at a time. I was just never able to commit myself to writing down my life daily. But bullet journaling is an entirely different story. I started bullet journaling late last year and I haven't stopped since. For me, bullet journaling is as much a creative outlet as a way to organize my day. It's like a scrapbook, sketchbook, journal and planner all wrapped into one. It is so much fun! Christmas Planning Spread The Bare Bones of Bullet Journaling Let me first start by…
