As I am a big lover of stationery and all things papery I thought it would be fun to put together a guide on the best shops for stationery addicts! This is by no means an all encompassing list, I am always finding new sites that I fall in love with and want to buy more.
These are the sites and Etsy shops you are guaranteed to find stationery you or the stationery addict in your life will be obsessed with.
Gifts for Stationery Addicts: Websites
This shop is filled with the most stunning authentic Japanese stationery you can find. They are a little pricey, but you’re getting real quality from this store and it’s worth every penny. There is even a little storefront in NYC which I had the privelege of visiting and you should too if you’re in the area. This is honestly one of my favorite shops!
This is a great option if you’re looking for cheap stationery. There’s a lot of kawaii themed merch on here, but there’s also tons of vintage/cottage core/flower /nautical aesthetic as well. I’ve purchased from here several times. The quality definitely is not as good as niconeco, but like I said it’s super cheap. It also takes a couple weeks to ship.
Option number three is kind of in the middle. They have some of the same brands NicoNeco has which means they have quality stationery. They have anything from handmade paper to stickers and ephemera. Shipping will take a little longer here as well because they are based in Malaysia.
Paper Wrld is packed with postiviely all the stationery you could ever want. From sealing wax to little aesthetic hand clips to tons of stationery, journals, and calligraphy pens. You name it, they got it. All beautiful and priced accordingly.

PenPaling Paula is amaing. I follow her on Instagram. She finally was able to quit her full time job and do her stationery business full time instead and I am here for every second of it. She is an inspiration and she creates beautiful stationery! She ships from Ireland. Follow her on Instagram.
Absent Studio sells beautiful binders, cases and bags meant to hold stationery. Perfect for bringing your penpaling and/or journaling habit on the road with you. I bought the class binder and I fully intendt to use it the next time I go traveling!
If you’re a journaler, or know someone who is, chances are they know this company. This is the company to get a traveler’s journal from. They’re journals are on all the stationery websites. They were even in the NicoNeco store. I want one so bad!!
Gifts for Stationery Addicts: Etsy Shops
Full disclosure, I am repping my own shops right now. I have my physical merch Etsy, WithLoveMelissaShop and my Instant Downloads Etsy, WithLoveMelissaPrint. Definitely a shop to take a look at for stationery addicts.
Her shop is currently closed until sometime this month. She is worth the wait though. Haley creates one of a kind junk journals sewed together with loving care. Each journal is based around a theme and completely unique. This is the perfect gift if you want to make your journaling friend the happiest person in the world. Here’s her Instagram so you can see some journals she’s made in the past.
I love the traveler’s journal inserts in this shop made with different types of handmade paper. There’s also a variety of cute stickers, photos, ephemera and printables all great for journaling and pen paling. She has something for every aesthetic you’re into.
